HELLENISTIC CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS - Ca. 300 - 200 BC. An amphoriskos made using the core-forming technique, with a dark body tapering to a pointed base and a short cylindrical neck flaring to a wide mouth. Two applied handles extend from the shoulder to the neck. The surface is decorated with a feathered pattern of marvered white, red, and yellow threads drawn into vertical festoons across the body.
