SUPERB GREEK CORINTHIAN BRONZE HELMET - Ca. 500 BC. A bronze helmet of Corinthian type, hammered from a single sheet to form a seamless, domed structure with a contoured profile. The front side features a pair of elongated, almond-shaped eye cut-outs flanking a vertically projecting nose-guard. The flared cheekpieces curve outward and taper to rounded points, framing the lower face while leaving space at the mouth and chin. The rim is drawn low at the sides and back, offering extended coverage of the jawline and nape.
