HELLENISTIC SOLID GOLD RING DEPICTING NOBLEWOMAN - Ca. 300 - 250 BC. A gold ring with an oval bezel engraved with a profile bust of a noblewoman facing left. She is shown with a coiffure of tightly arranged braids drawn back over the crown and secured in a bun, with a long plait falling behind the ear. Her facial features are finely rendered, and she wears a draped garment. The hoop is broad and flat.For similar see: E. M.
