ROMAN MOULD-BLOWN GLASS JUG - Ca. AD 1 - 100. A deep aubergine mould-blown glass jug with a cylindrical neck, flaring rim, and a single applied handle drawn up and folded at the top. The shoulder is decorated with a frieze of radiating tongues, while the central register displays vegetal scrolls in relief.
