EGYPTIAN STONE CYLINDER SEAL
Pre-Dynastic Period, Ca. 3600 - 2900 BC. A stone cylinder seal with a vertical perforation. The outer face is carved in shallow relief with a continuous register of stylised figures arranged between two parallel framing lines. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.Size: 30.2mm x 21.7mm; Weight: 22.5gProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
