CHINESE LOTUS QINGBAI BOWL - Southern Song Period, Song Dynasty, Ca. AD 960 - 1279. A delicately potted Qingbai porcelain bowl of conical form raised on a small circular foot. The body is covered with a thin, translucent, pale bluish glaze characteristic of Qingbai ware. The exterior is subtly moulded with a lotus petals design, while the interior remains plain.
