CHINESE STONEWARE DISH, POSSIBLY RU WARE - Song Dynasty, Ca. AD 960 - 1279. A small, circular dish with a gently everted rim and flat base. Covered overall in a warm ivory-toned glaze with a fine crackle. Possibly an overfired Ru ware piece, resulting in the loss of colour in the glaze. Size: 130mm x 33mm; Weight: 160g.
