CHINESE SANG DE BOEUF PORCELAIN BOX - Ming Dynasty, Ca. 1368 - 1644 or later. A circular box with fitted domed cover in sang de boeuf glaze. The interior features four radiating compartments around a central round niche. This type of box was commonly used for holding snacks and sweets, or possibly scholarly articles such as ink cakes. Size: 215mm x 90mm; Weight: 1.99kg. Provenance:Private French Collection, acquired in central region of France.
