CHINESE FLAMBE GLAZED VASE - Late Qing Dynasty, Ca. AD 1800 - 1912. A flambe vase of archaistic hu shape. Its pear-shaped body rises to a waisted neck with a flared rim, and is flanked by a pair of moulded handles. The surface is covered in a rich streaked flambé glaze of deep crimson red mottled with green splashes. Size: 295mm x 215mm; Weight: 3.16kg. Provenance: Private UK collection.
