SMALL CHINESE PORCELAIN SQUARE CUP - Republican Period, Ca. AD 1912 - 1949. A small pot of square-section tapering form, decorated with a soft celadon glaze accented by streaks of swirling underglaze blue. The front is inscribed with a poem, flanked by three red seal marks. The sides are adorned with openwork handles. The base includes a four-character Qianlong mark. Size: 95mm x 50mm; Weight: 135g. Provenance: Private French Collection.
