GROUP OF TIBETAN BRONZE RITUAL BELLS - Ca. AD 1700 - 1900. A group comprising a finely cast Tibetan ritual bell (ghanta), the grip surmounted by a half-vajra finial and crowned head of Prajnaparamita, the bell body deeply cast with scrolling motifs, garlands, and vajra panels. A small Nepalese bronze hand bell, simple in form with a looped handle and incised surface decoration. A pair of Tibetan cymbal bells, joined by a leather cord, each cast with auspicious symbols. These items are central to Tibetan Buddhist practice, used in rituals and meditation for invoking deities and dispelling negative energies. Size: 65-180mm x 50-90mm; Weight: 670g.
