COLLECTION OF BYZANTINE GLAZED SGRAFFITO WARE BOWLS - Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A collection of four glazed sgraffito ware bowls. The bowl on the left is decorated with a pale yellowish glaze over incised spiral motifs arranged within radiating segments, with added green and brown highlights. The second bowl is plain, with a finely speckled cream glaze. The third bowl has a yellowish glaze with a green line crossing the interior.
