BYZANTINE SILVER RING DEPICTING SAINT NICHOLAS - Ca. AD 900 - 1200. A silver ring with a lozenge-shaped bezel engraved with a bust of Saint Nicholas within a beaded border. The saint is depicted frontally, holding a cross-staff in the right hand. The figure wears a vestment with vertical folds and is crowned with a halo.
