VIKING SILVER MEDALLION WITH CROSS - Ca. AD 700 - 900. A silver medallion with a raised cross at the centre, composed of four concave arms enclosing a central domed boss with a twisted rope border. Each arm terminates in a scroll-like tendril that curls outward and extends into the surrounding quadrants. A plain suspension loop is attached at the top, and the reverse is flat and undecorated.
