SCYTHIAN IRON CURVED DAGGER WITH BIRD-SHAPED HANDLE - Ca. 500 - 400 BC. An iron dagger with a broad, curved blade tapering to a point, slightly thickened at the spine. The hilt terminates in a sculptural element in the form of a stylised bird’s head, complete with incised eye and open beak, the body curving downward to form the handle.
