GREEK HIGH KARAT GOLD EARRING WITH GARNET BEAD - Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A gold earring composed of a large drop-shaped pendant densely covered in rows of granulated protrusions forming a textured surface. The upper section is fitted with a deep red garnet bead of convex profile, capped with a plain granulated collar and looped gold suspension.
