EGYPTIAN POLYCHROME POTTERY JAR WITH WEDJAT EYES AND ANKH SYMBOLS - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A large pottery jar with a biconical body tapering towards a pointed base and a tall neck with an outward-flaring rim. The upper body and neck are painted in red, blue, and black on a buff ground, with continuous horizontal bands and a main frieze of two large Wedjat eyes alternating with two ankh signs, each flanked by stylised feathers and floral elements.Size: 480mm x 330mm; Weight: 5kgProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
