SUPERB EGYPTIAN WOODEN USHABTI - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A wooden ushabti figure of mummiform type, with the arms crossed over the chest and the hands emerging to hold agricultural tools. The head is framed by a tripartite wig falling to the shoulders. The face is modelled with almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a straight nose, and full, defined lips.
