SUPERB EGYPTIAN CERAMIC USHABTI OF THE INFANTRYMAN KHAIY - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A ceramic ushabti with a tripartite wig and crossed arms holding agricultural implements. The face is rounded, with defined lips and prominent eyes. The mummiform body bears hieroglyphic inscriptions arranged in vertical columns on the front and both sides, while the back remains plain.
