EGYPTIAN SARCOPHAGUS MASK - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A wooden sarcophagus mask carved in high relief with full cheeks, a prominent nose, and a rounded chin. Large eyes with extended brows and cosmetic lines are painted in black. The surface of the face is finished in a reddish-brown tone, and the flat reverse features multiple attachment points.
