EGYPTIAN WOODEN FIGURINE OF WOMAN - Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A wooden figure of a standing woman with elongated proportions and socketed shoulders for the attachment of separate arms. She wears a long, close-fitting garment extending to the ankles, and her hair is rendered as a black-painted cap with incised curls. The facial features are painted in black and red, with large eyes and arched brows.
