EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTHI WITH INSCRIPTION - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A faience mummiform ushabti. The figure wears a tripartite wig with a plaited divine beard and has both arms crossed over the chest, holding implements. The facial features are carefully modelled, and a vertical column of incised hieroglyphic inscription runs down the front of the body.
