MATCHED PAIR OF EGYPTIAN HIGH KARAT GOLD AND STONE-INLAID EYES FROM A MUMMY MASK - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A matched pair of gold and stone-inlaid eyes from a mummy mask. Each eye is formed as a gold frame with an almond-shaped outline and extended cosmetic line, with dark stone inlays for the pupils and white sclera. The gold brows are separately made and gently curved in profile. The set comes in a modern fitted case with a red velvet insert.
