EGYPTIAN BRONZE AND STONE MUMMY'S EYES AND EYEBROWS - Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A matching set of mummy inlays comprising a pair of eyes and arched brows. Each eye is constructed from bronze with an inlaid sclera of white stone and a circular black stone for the pupil. The accompanying brows are cast in bronze with a gently curving profile, shaped to mirror the arc of the eyes.For similar see: Sotheby's, Worlds within Worlds.
