CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA FIGURINE OF DONKEY AND RIDER - Cyprio - Archaic Period, Ca. 600 - 480 BC. A terracotta figurine depicting a donkey standing on four conical legs, with a long neck, cylindrical snout, pierced eyes, raised, pointed ears, and a sculpted mane. The elongated body is slightly arched along the back. The lower part of a rider is preserved on one side of the animal’s back. For similar see: V.
