LARGE ETRUSCAN BRONZE VOTIVE FIGURINE OF HERAKLES - Ca. 500 - 400 BC. A bronze statuette of Herakles depicted nude and standing with legs apart. The right arm is raised and bent at the elbow, with a clenched fist, while the left arm hangs by the side. The musculature is defined along the torso and limbs. Facial features are rendered schematically, with incised hair and recessed eyes.
