ETRUSCAN RING WITH BANDED AGATE CABOCHON - Ca. 500 - 200 BC. A gold ring set with an elongated cabochon of banded agate, displaying alternating dark and light layers. The stone is enclosed within a high oval bezel framed by two concentric rows of granulated gold beading. The hoop is circular in section and plain.
