GANDHARAN STONE HEAD OF BUDDHA - Ca. AD 300 - 400. A carved stone piece depicting the head of Buddha. The head shows serene facial features with almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a straight nose, and gently closed lips forming a meditative expression. The hair is arranged in large locks, gathered beneath a turban-like headdress.
