JAVA BRONZE FIGURE OF GREEN TARA - Ca. 11th century AD or later. A bronze figure of Green Tara, finely cast seated in lalit?sana on a lotus pedestal, her left leg extended, her right leg folded. She holds her left hand at her hip, while her right hand is raised gracefully above her chest. A lotus stem rises along her shoulder, symbolising purity.
