TIBETAN BRONZE DORJE AND DORJE BELL - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A ritual bronze dorje (vajra) together with a matching bell, both finely cast. The bell is decorated with bands of lotus petals, auspicious emblems, and seated figures, surmounted by a vajra handle. The dorje, with five prongs to either side, symbolises the indestructible power of enlightenment.
