NEPALESE BRONZE STANDING VISHNU - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A finely cast four-armed figure of Vishnu standing upright on a double-lotus base over a square plinth, his principal right hand raised in abhaya mudra, the lower left holding the mace, the remaining hands supporting additional attributes. He wears an elaborate tall crown and ornate jewellery, with a high-waisted dhoti finely incised with floral patterns. The face displays a serene expression beneath arched brows, framed by elongated earlobes and pendent earrings.Size: 450mm x 165mm; Weight: 5.24kgProvenance: From a professional UK collection of Asian and Himalayan art; previously with a London gallery, ex.
