JAVA BRONZE STANDING PADMAPANI - Ca. 19th century AD or earlier. A bronze figure of Padmapani. The bodhisattva stands gracefully upon a double-lotus pedestal, the right hand raised, while the left holds the stem of a lotus rising to bloom by the shoulder. He wears a richly ornamented dhoti with beaded hems, multiple necklaces, armbands, and a tall crown surmounted by a high chignon before a circular halo.
