MOCHE FIASCO STIRRUP SPOUT VESSEL DEPICTING CROUCHING MAN - Ca. AD 500 - 800. A cream and dark grey pottery vessel in the form of a seated male figure, the legs drawn up and both arms resting across the knees. The head is sculpted with wide almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a broad, prominent nose, and a straight, tightly closed mouth. Large disc-shaped ornaments are set at the ears, and a full seed sack is slung over the back. A tubular stirrup spout rises behind the shoulders.
