PRE-COLUMBIAN STONE DRAGON SHAPED VESSEL - Ca. AD 550 - 900. A ceramic vessel, decorated with the bold, sculptural features of a mythological creature, most likely a dragon or composite zoomorphic deity. The vessel’s front projects a fierce head with bulging, circular eyes, drilled nostrils, and bared teeth, while stylized forelimbs extend from the body with claw-like hands.
