GROUP OF AFRICAN BASKETS - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A group comprising a large deep bowl, a handled cylindrical basket strainer with woven mesh interior, and a tall pedestal-form basket. Each is finely woven in vegetal fibres with variations of tight coiling and plaiting.
