GROUP OF MELANESIAN HATS - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A group comprising three finely woven fibre hats of differing forms: one square with openwork weave, one oval with concentric circular decoration and central fibre tuft, and one domed example with geometric triangular motifs.
