TWO WOODEN SPOONS - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A pair of finely carved wooden spoons from the Solomon Islands. One features a broad oval bowl with a handle surmounted by a series of stepped geometric elements, finely incised with linear and dotted motifs; the other with a smaller spherical bowl and a tall, narrow handle elaborately decorated with incised ornament and a suspension element at the top.
