STUNNING SCYTHIAN BRONZE AND TURQUOISE BELT FITTING DEPICTING STAG IN FRAME - Ca. 400 - 100 BC. A bronze belt fitting cast as a rectangular openwork frame enclosing a recumbent stag with branching antlers. The body is decorated with turquoise inlays, including circular and teardrop-shaped elements along the border. The reverse is fitted with three integral studs for attachment.
