SASANIAN SILVER-GILT SHALLOW BOWL WITH PHEASANT - Ca. AD 400 - 600. A shallow silver bowl with gently curving walls and a central decorative medallion depicting a gold repoussé pheasant shown in left profile, with finely incised plumage and a long tail extending in a graceful arc.
