VIKING AGE SILVER AND NIELLO BRACELET WITH GRYPHONS - Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A silver bracelet formed from a round-section band that broadens into sharply flaring terminals. Each bears a stylised gryphon in low relief within a medallion, the surrounding triangular fields shallowly incised with scrolling vegetal motifs and inlaid with niello.
