BYZANTINE SILVER AND NIELLO RING WITH ANGEL HOLDING CRUCIGER - Ca. AD 600. A silver ring with a flat oval bezel attached to a slender hoop with a rounded profile and small side-knobs. The bezel is engraved and inlaid with niello, depicting a standing angel in frontal pose, clad in a long tunic.
