BYZANTINE SILVER RING WITH MILITARY SAINT - Ca. AD 600. A silver ring with a plain hoop of round section, and a circular bezel engraved with a standing military saint, shown frontally and nimbate, holding a long spear in his right hand and a circular shield in his left. A vertical beaded element stands beside the figure, and a cross appears above.
