EGYPTIAN BLUE-PAINTED TERRACOTTA JAR WITH BULLS - Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC. A blue-painted terracotta jar of biconical form with a broad shoulder and a tall neck finished with a wide everted rim and rounded lip. Decoration in black, red and blue comprises on the shoulder a frieze with two bulls, separated by stylised palm fronds; multiple encircling lines frame the zone above and below.
