HUGE EGYPTIAN WOODEN PAINTED FIGURINE OF OSIRIS - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A mummiform figure of Osiris carved from wood. The face is finely modelled with defined lips, a prominent nose, and almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows. A tripartite wig frames the face and descends onto the shoulders. A vertical column of black-painted hieroglyphs runs down the back pillar.
