EGYPTIAN HIGH KARAT GOLD AND TURQUOISE INLAID DJED TOWER AMULET - 19th Dynasty, Ca. 1279-1213 BC. A gold Djed amulet with ten rectangular faience inlays arranged along the front face. The shaft subtly expands at both ends, framed by flat terminals above and below. Transverse bars project from the upper section, and a small suspension loop is set at the top.
