COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN WOODEN PYXIDES WITH POMEGRANATE LIDS - Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A collection of four wooden pyxides, each carved with a cylindrical body and flat base. Two are fitted with domed lids carved in the form of stylised pomegranates and decorated with incised bands below the rim and around the midsection.
