EGYPTIAN FAIENCE TRIAD OF ALEXANDRIA AMULET - Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A faience amulet of square form, the front moulded in high relief with a triad of deities - Horus flanked by Isis and Nephthys - all depicted frontally, standing side by side and clasping hands. The central figure of Horus is shown nude with arms extended, Isis on the left wears the crown of cow horns enclosing a sun disc, and Nephthys on the right is surmounted by her hieroglyphic emblem.
