EGYPTIAN HIPPOPOTAMUS HEAD AMULET - Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A stone head of a hippopotamus. The broad muzzle is modelled with pronounced nostrils and an incised mouth, while raised contours define the eyes and rounded ears.
