EGYPTIAN BLUE FAIENCE WINGED SCARAB AMULET - New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period, Ca. 1550 - 664 BC. A faience winged scarab amulet composed of three elements. The scarab is rendered with a domed back, rounded clypeus, and shallow incisions outlining the division of the elytra. One suspension hole pierces the head, and five additional holes are set along the edges of the body.
