EGYPTIAN GRANITE HEAD OF MAN WITH WIG - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A stone head of a man wearing a wig, carved from mottled grey granite. The head with oval face, prominent brows, almond-shaped eyes and pursed lips, framed by a tripartite wig incised with vertical striations; mounted on a modern, custom stand. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
